Western Port Festival

Wallaroo Primary School took part in the annual Western Port Festival Street Parade again this year.

The theme was ‘Harbour of Friendships: Celebrating Art, Music and Multicultural Diversity’.

We took this opportunity to highlight the cultural diversity of our school community and made flags to represent the different cultural backgrounds of our students and staff.

To focus on the concept of friendship, students explored the question ‘What makes a good friend?’ and identified 6 key words, which they displayed on the banner they created. Well done Wallaroo and a big thank you to our wonderful families who participated in the parade on behalf of our school.
